On holiday with your dog

Fancy a lovely holiday where you can enjoy the beach and the countryside with your dog? From the campsite, you’re just a stone’s throw away from the beach with your four-legged friend, and the Groese Polders nature reserve is also a wonderful place for a walk.

Four-legged friends are also welcome

Dogs are very welcome and can have a lovely time here. At the same time, we ask that you be considerate of other guests who may not be so keen on dogs. Together, we can ensure a pleasant holiday for everyone. Please also read all the information in the dog flyer.

On the beach

Running, digging, playing. From 1 May to 30 September, dogs must be kept on a lead between 10.00 and 18.00. Outside these times, and from 1 October to 30 April, they are allowed to run free on the beach.

Dog showers

Has your four-legged friend been running riot? Wash your dog with warm water in one of the dog showers near the toilet blocks (G, H, R, M).

Dog-free camping pitches

We do take into account that not every guest is a dog lover. There are also pitches where dogs are not permitted. Please check the map for details.

At accommodation facilities

A maximum of two dogs are welcome per camping pitch. Two dogs are also permitted in some rental accommodation. Flexible fencing is permitted to a limited extent.

On a lead

Is your dog on a lead? If so, it is allowed anywhere on the campsite, unless otherwise indicated. For example, your dog is not allowed inside the shop, reception or toilet blocks. Please read all the guidelines in the dog information leaflet.
